Whole or Partial Pig Share DEPOSIT (July/August 2024 Harvest)
Our hogs are hand raised on our farm and treated with care and respect. These hogs were born on December 25, 2023 and will be harvested at a weight of approximately 250 lbs. Hog will be delivered to the butcher in Jackson, CA.
We will notify you 2 weeks prior to the harvest date and you will make final payment at that time. The butcher will get in touch with you and you may customize your meat order and pay for the butcher services such as custom cuts, smoking and sausages.
If your email or phone number changes, it is your responsibility to notify us. If you need to cancel your order, we will make every effort to resell your share. However, your deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE if we are unable to resell your share.
Your DEPOSIT is exactly half of the total cost for buying your share. A second invoice will be sent to you two weeks prior to harvest. You have not completed your purchase until you pay the FULL amount. Any share that is not paid in full by the date of the harvest will be forfeit.

About 85 lbs hanging weight
Half of the variety of the whole hog
Quarter Hog
About 42 lbs hanging weight
Either the front half, including the shoulder or back half, including the ham.
Current Butchering Prices*
$1.45 per pound for processing standard cuts: chops, hams, hamhocks, ribs, belly
$1.65 per pound for smoking and curing
$1.75 for sausage
* Butchering prices are subject to change. Current as of November 2023. All butchering payments are to be made directly to the butcher. Jones Family Farm does not sell butchering or finished pork products.
